Committees

Administer and coordinate the operations of the Club, providing oversight to the Club's committees and individual appointed members.

Perform periodic removal of litter along Catalina Hills Drive in SaddleBrooke as a community service initiative under the stewardship of the Pinal County Public Works Adopt-A-County-Road Program (AACR).

Keep the Membership informed on all aspects of the Club to include events, meetings, activities, member news, and other items of interest.

Provide First Aid training to Club Guides and other members through a one-day course combining a classroom lecture with a field exercise.

Organize and lead fitness walks five days per week, Monday thru Friday, on the SaddleBrooke campus.

Perform all administrative aspects of hikes offered by the club, lead regularly scheduled hikes in the surrounding area, and also lead hikes on the Club's trips outside of the greater Tucson area.

Organize, update, and revise the Club's hike database.

Administer all aspects of Club membership from processing new memberships to annual renewals.

Handle all administrative aspects of the Club's bi-monthly newsletter to include scheduling of inputs, editing submittals, and composing the document.

Plan, organize, and implement twice-a-year picnics and also provide logistical support to other Club social functions.

Coordinate, schedule, publicize, and implement programs, open to all SaddleBrooke residents, on a broad variety of topics related to hiking and the outdoors.

Coordinate the submittal of Club news articles to local newspapers (SaddleBag Notes and SaddleBrooke Progress) and other media.

Plan, develop and implement computer technology tools for improving administrative processes for the Club.

Plan, organize and manage off-site Club hiking trips.

Video Club programs and other activities for posting to the Club's website.

Develop, maintain, manage and operate the Club's website.
