Please join the SaddleBrooke Hiking Club on Wednesday, March 18 at 4:00 p.m. in the HOA1 Activity Center for the return of our popular “My Favorite Hike" program featuring:
· Jeff Love's trek to Lake O'Hara in the Alpine area of Yoho National Park in British Columbia - part of a larger UNESCO World Heritage site which includes Banff and Jasper National Parks
· Roger Bivin's travels on the Cinque Torri Trail in the Eastern Dolomites of Italy - limestone mountains formed from ancient coral reefs pushed up from the ocean floor over many millennia
· Denny Teusch's introduction to Colorado “14ers", including his summit of Little Bear Peak in the Sangre de Christo range - considered to be one of the most technically difficult and dangerous mountains in the state
· Seana Kobak's completion of the Wonderland Trail, a strenuous, ninety-three-mile hike encircling Mount Rainier, through lowland forests, valleys, and alpine regions - all at the peak of the wildflower bloom
We are anticipating a large crowd, so please come early to secure a good seat. You do not need to be a member of the SBHC to attend the presentation.
