Roughly 10 miles south of Florence is a Greek Monastery with incredible botanical gardens. Also Byzantine structures and buildings. The Monastery has strict rules on clothing (long pants and coverings). Roughly 20 monks started this 30 years ago and it is a jewel. No talking allowed . Look up St Anthony on the net. 3 plus miles of walking. No fee.
