The hike begins at the Kannally Ranch House parking lot in Oracle State Park. We take the trail to the Bellota trail, stopping at the geology exhibits, then the Mariposa Trail to the Granite Overlook Trail. We follow this trail to the Nature Trail that takes us back to the trailhead. Hike 4.5 miles, trailhead elevation 4350 feet; accumulated gain 980 feet; RTD 40 miles.
