About this event
A new SaddleBrooke backyard trail. The "Tortoise Rock" trail [D**. Pace: Moderate 06:30 AM, $0] This trail goes to a large balanced rock east of the Preserve. Tortoise Rock trail starts at the lower end of Willow Canyon Dr and across the CDO at the base of Golder Dam. The trail makes its way north among several spectacular rock gardens, outcroppings and saguaros trail length is 1.2 miles one-way with overall elevation gain of 450 feet for the 2.4 mile round trip.
