HOWEVER, ALL HIKING CLUB MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THIS HIKE.
Balanced Rock, Golder Dam and Spillway. Rating: D***. Pace: Moderate [NEW, 08:00 AM, $0] This hike starts at the lower end of Willow Canyon Dr crossing the CDO and progresses up to The Balanced Rock. The hike route returns to the Spillway cutoff then heads north to the Spillway and Golder Dam east of the Preserve. Once on top of Golder Dam a short history of the Dam and surrounding area prior to the development of SaddleBrooke is given by the Guide. Total hike distance is 2 miles with accumulated elevation gain of 350 feet.
