It is hard to imagine that anyone in the SaddleBrooke Hiking Club does not know the name Ken Wong. For the past 12 years, hikers have seen his name every other month when the SBHC newsletter is distributed yet may not actually know much about Ken or his many contributions to the success of the SBHC.

On November 18, 2026, the SaddleBrooke Hiking Club welcomes David Dean, a Coronado National Forest volunteer and animal expert, as their speaker. David will address mountain lions in the Santa Catalina Mountains. The program will be held at the SaddleBrooke One Activity Center at 4 p.m.

The Trip Committee is excited to announce plans for the Spring 2027 Hiking Club trip. Hiking will take place in the Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, and Greer areas of Arizona’s beautiful White Mountains.

With so many new and returning members, it is nice to match names with faces.

In our last SBHC September/October Newsletter, I introduced select hikes for NEW MEMBERS of the SaddleBrooke Hiking Club (Those who joined the Club in the Past 12 Months).
