The 2024 Recreation & Activities Fair was held on January 20, 2024, in the HOA2 ballroom. Our club once again participated as one of the sixty clubs and organizations represented that day. The purpose of the fair is to showcase the many recreational and activity opportunities in SaddleBrooke for residents.
Coordinating our table once again for this year’s fair was Tim Butler, who locked in our registration and great table location, enlisted the help of other club members to “market” our club to fair goers, and coordinated the setup and take down.
We did have several members who stopped by and renewed their memberships, several new member signups, and many inquiries regarding membership and club activities - so the event was deemed a success.
Helping with staffing the three shifts for our table, answering questions from fair participants, and logistical support were:
Pete Baragona, Barb Rutt, Carol Olson, Jim Solon, Cathy Meyer, Ann Olson, Maria Spencer, Dianna Wilson, Jeff Love, Marc Humphrey, Arlene Daigle, Katie Atkins, Ruth Caldwell, and Ken Wong.
